Installation
The installation steps differ by device and browser.
Already open as an app
UAECoupons is already open as an app on this device.
Chrome on desktop
- Open UAECoupons in Chrome.
- Click the install icon on the right of the address bar.
- Confirm with “Install”.
If no icon appears: Chrome menu → “Cast, save and share” → “Install page as app”.
Edge on desktop
- Open UAECoupons in Microsoft Edge.
- Click the app icon in the address bar.
- Confirm the installation.
Alternatively: Edge menu → “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”.
Android with Chrome
- Open UAECoupons in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- Confirm the installation.

- Open UAECoupons in Safari.

Privacy for the app and saved shops
Short and transparent – without device fingerprinting.
- For install counting, an anonymous random device ID is stored locally.
- The ID is hashed server-side in a portal-specific way before storage.
- No email address, no full IP address, no device fingerprinting.
- Clearing browser data can create a newly recognised installation.
- Saved shops are stored locally in your browser or installed web app by default. Without notifications enabled, favourites are not sent to the server.
- Clearing browser data removes the saved list. Lists on other devices are not synced yet. No sign-in is required.
- Browser notifications are optional. Only after explicit consent and only for shops you saved yourself. Push endpoints and technical keys are stored encrypted; mapping uses an anonymous portal-hashed installation ID. Pause and full removal are always available. Full removal clears the server-side favourites copy; local favourites stay on the device.
