Newsletter
On this website you can subscribe to the UAECoupons newsletter. We process your email address, the signup source, language and country, and the selected interests. To document consent we also log the time, a shortened or hashed IP indication and the user agent.
Processing is for sending coupons and promotions based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Signup uses double opt-in: the address is activated for sending only after email confirmation.
Form data is transferred via the UAECoupons Cloudflare Worker to the existing newsletter service and processed in Supabase. Confirmation and newsletter emails are sent via Brevo. A Brevo contact is created only after confirmation.
An active subscription is processed until unsubscribe or withdrawal. You can unsubscribe via the link in every newsletter email. For unconfirmed signups the reviewed implementation does not document a binding automatic deletion period. That period must be defined and legally approved before production release.
The rating feature uses a technically necessary functional cookie (mios_rating_session, 180-day lifetime); details are in the “Shop and coupon ratings” section.
Shop and coupon ratings
On this website you can rate shops from 1 to 5 stars and leave thumbs-up or thumbs-down feedback on coupons or promotions. Processing is limited to calculating and displaying aggregated scores and detecting repeat votes in the same session (one vote per shop or offer; later changes replace the previous vote).
The first submitted rating sets a technically necessary functional cookie named mios_rating_session. It contains a randomly generated pseudonymous rating identifier with no link to your name, email or other account data, and lasts 180 days. The cookie is used only for ratings — not for advertising, reach measurement or cross-portal profiling.
In the rating flow the identifier is processed and stored only as a cryptographic HMAC hash; the cookie’s clear value does not leave the transfer path and is not stored permanently. Deleting the cookie in your browser removes the local identifier.
Aggregated scores calculated from all votes (for example average and count) are shown publicly; individual votes are not identifiable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working, abuse-resistant rating feature).
Contact form
Via the contact form on this website you can send questions, correction notes, feedback and partnership enquiries. We process the details you enter, in particular topic, email address, message and optionally name, company or organisation, website and a related shop or page reference.
Processing is to handle and answer your request under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to pre-contractual or contractual duties, otherwise based on our legitimate interest in appropriate communication under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Form data is validated server-side by the UAECoupons Cloudflare Worker and forwarded to our operator’s central support ticket system. A reply is sent to the email address you provided.
Data is stored only as long as needed to handle your request and as long as statutory retention duties do not require longer storage.
