How we verify coupon codes and offers
UAECoupons explains the verification method here: cart tests for codes, evaluation of offers without a code, evidence strength and how unclear results are handled.
This page describes the method – not the latest results. Current checks and proofs are on the coupon verification overview.
How verification works
-
Selection
A due coupon is selected for testing.
-
Cart
A test product is added to the cart in the shop.
-
Redemption
The code is entered and the discount is measured.
-
Proof
The result and a cleaned screenshot are stored.
Offers without code
We test coupon codes in the cart or checkout whenever possible. Offers without a code are assessed using visible prices, discounts, promotion notes, conditions and, where applicable, cart changes. The strength of evidence reflects the available proof – it is not a guarantee for every order. Technical unverifiability says nothing about validity; unclear results do not automatically mean an offer will not work. Checks are repeated regularly; cleaned screenshots serve as proof when they contain no sensitive data.
The strength of evidence describes how clearly the offer could be supported during the automatic check. It is not a guarantee that the offer can be redeemed on every order.
Understanding statuses
Confirmed in cart
The coupon was applied in the cart and the discount was confirmed.
Confirmed under conditions
The discount works, but additional shop conditions apply (e.g. minimum order value).
Currently being checked
The coupon is currently being tested in the cart.
Manually checked
A team member manually verified the coupon in the cart.
Check could not be completed
Automatic verification could not be fully completed – for example due to shop restrictions, login requirements or technical errors. No statement on validity.
Not confirmed by the shop
The shop did not confirm the coupon in the cart.
Stale
The last check is outdated. A new check is due.
What you can rely on
Real cart tests
We add test products to the cart and apply the code – just like you would.
No orders
Verification ends in the cart. Nothing is purchased or paid.
Visible proofs
Cleaned screenshots document time, cart values and observed discount.
Honest statuses
Technical blocks are not sold as “invalid”. You see what was actually checked.
Frequently asked questions
Does “verified” mean every coupon always works?
No. A check documents the status at the time of verification. Shop conditions may change later.
What happens with a technical block?
We mark the check as technically restricted and make no statement about the code’s validity.
Are orders placed?
No. Automatic verification ends in the cart.
What data is visible in the verification proof?
Shop name, timestamp, cart values, observed discount and a cleaned screenshot – never the full code.
How often are coupons checked?
Due coupons are tested continuously. Current results appear on this page and in the live ticker.
What does “verified under conditions” mean?
The discount was confirmed but only under certain shop conditions – for example a minimum order value.
Can I view the verification proof myself?
Yes. For confirmed checks you will find a link to the cleaned screenshot on the coupon page.
